Bound to fail

You will have read in the recent newspapers on an article about the comments made by a principal of a secondary school to the Sec 5 pupils saying that they stand a better chance by applying for entry into ITE rather than making an attempt to sit for their O Levels exams. “Through Train” – as in having the academic ability to skip the O Levels exams and proceed directly for the A Level exams or perhaps it could mean that the school is “through” with training you?
