F1 steering wheel

F1 drives do not have foot pedals. In fact, all controls of the race car and communications with the Pit Stop Team is carried out using the steering wheel.

    Thanks for that link. I’ve been getting more interested in F1, and I find it really fascinating with how many controls they pack onto the steering wheel.

    This is the 2007 wheel, the one for this season (2008) looks different…

    The steering wheel of an F1 is indeed a marvellous piece of technology. All at the fingertips of the driver to shave off that few precious seconds in a race.
